    This BAOFENG UV-5R transceiver is a micro-miniature multiband FM transceiver with extensive receive frequency coverage, providing local-area two-way amateur communications along with unmatched monitoring capability.

    The Baofeng UV-5R is one of the most popular dual band handheld two way radios on the market worldwide.The Baofeng UV-5R Two-Way Radio is designed to provide reliable, clean and trouble-free communication.

    Baofeng UV-5R is an economical Dual Band UHF/VHF Amateur Radio that's extremely compact. With 128 channel capacity and up to 12 hours of battery life, the UV-5R is a good choice for ham radio operators who need mobility at low cost.

    The Baofeng UV-5R series of radios will receive and transmit on FM modulated VHF frequencies between 136-174MHZ and on FM modulated UHF frequencies between 400-480/520MHz. It will also receive only (but not transmit) on FM modulated VHF frequencies between 65 – 108 MHz.
